Are You Open? Visitors Want To Know

As we continue to cautiously encourage local travel in British Columbia, it is vital that we – Destination BC, DMOs, and BC residents – have an accurate picture of which businesses are currently open or temporarily closed – and we need your help.

Here are three things you can do now:

1. If your business is temporarily closed, add a Temporarily Closed notification to your business listings on TripAdvisor and HelloBC.com.
2. If your business is open, but has modified hours or service, please update your TripAdvisor description to reflect your status. Simply login to your TripAdvisor account and, in the Management Centre, update your description. Remember that any changes made to your TripAdvisor listing description will automatically appear on HelloBC.com the next day.
3. Every business in BC is required to prepare and clearly post a COVID-19 Safety Plan and guidelines on public-facing websites. Use WorkSafeBC’s step-by-step guide to design your COVID-19 Safety Plan.
