Our Travel Media recently returned from hosting their first travel media familiarization tour of 2025, hosted in partnership with Kootenay Rockies Tourism Association. This trip pitched BC’s Kootenay Rockies as a premiere winter destination to travel journalists from around the US, Canada and Australia, and outlets including Condé Nast Traveler, Ski Canada Magazine, Matador Network, TEN Media (Powder Magazine), and more.
BC’s Kootenay Rockies region is home to the POWDER HIGHWAY®, where deep snow, idyllic towns, and some of the most downhome, adventure-packed ski resorts in North America exist. Some of the highlights media guests experienced included:
In addition to plenty of time on the slopes, we also made stops at a frozen waterfall and Kicking Horse Resort’s mountain-top restaurant, Eagle’s Eye, for Canada’s most elevated dining experience.
