Over the past two months, Destination BC has launched three new HelloBC websites targeted to the key travel markets of Mexico, China, and Germany. The sites features inspirational content, as well as travel ideas unique to each market.
Users in these markets can access Google Maps with functionality cues and labelling written in the local language. Call-to-action labels and important information are also presented in the local language; business listings and TripAdvisor API are also integrated in English.
Consumers can also engage in inspirational content posted to market-specific social channels such as Weibo, WeChat, and Youku; and can find local tour operators that offer travel to B.C. The new websites are part of Destination BC’s global digital marketing platform. Explore the new sites here:
