Destination British Columbia works with social media influencers to inspire travellers to visit the province.

Destination BC will consider supporting influencers who meet the following criteria:

  • Influencer’s followers have an interest in travel and live in Western USA, BC, Alberta, Ontario, UK or Australia.
  • Influencer has a strong following in the 40+ years age category.
  • Influencer has a minimum of 50,000 followers on one social media channel and has a high engagement rate (minimum of 2.4%).
  • Influencers pitching content creation projects need to be aligned with Destination BC’s brand. Find the guidelines here.
  • Provide a minimum of eight weeks advance notice.
