Jodie Hu from Destination BC China overseas team, alongside in-market Team Canada partners of Destination Canada, Destination Ontario, and Tourism Northwest Territories, wrapped up a successful show with Virtuoso on Tour in Beijing in early November. Virtuoso is the leading global network of agencies specializing in luxury and experiential travel, with more than 20,000 advisors.
Team Canada met with 47 Virtuoso travel advisors from more than 30 customized tour companies on November 13th, followed by a training session the following day.
As the province with the most Virtuoso-preferred suppliers and luxury products and experiences, BC is an appealing destination in Canada for travel advisors, and there were lots of inquiries for information on luxury hotels, resorts, and ski resources, during the show. A Canada showcase area also highlighted the destination at the event venue.
