The Government of Canada is making investments in tourism and small businesses across British Columbia through two recent funding announcements from the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan).
Through PacifiCan’s Tourism Growth Program, more than $725,000 will be distributed across four organizations based in the Thompson Okanagan to attract visitors and drive local economic growth. Through this support:
Pacifican also announced support for small businesses in BC through $2.7 million in funding for Small Business BC. Small Business BC supports BC entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses through free resources, seminars, grants, personalized advice, and more.
