We know our residents are more interested than ever in buying direct from BC businesses and local makers. We also know that British Columbians are searching for gift ideas, and are particularly interested in: food and drink (e.g. local fare/food baskets, virtual wine tastings, beer clubs), passion-related activities (memberships to museums, golf courses, local attractions, BC magazines subscriptions), and of course, for exploring BC in the future (e.g. ferry, rail, hotel gift cards).
Leading up to the holidays, we want to position holiday gift giving as a Stay Local, Support Local endeavour. We are currently building out a BC Holiday Gift Guide that we recently published on HelloBC.com, as well as are sharing stories on our channels that encourage our residents to support businesses in their local community. Here’s where our partners come in:

Here are some great examples of gift guides recently published by BC tourism partners: Indigenous Tourism BC, BC Ale Trail, Tourism Richmond, Tourism Victoria, Tourism Prince George, and Tourism Kelowna.
