"Highlighting the successes of para-athletes is essential to telling the story of Canada's sports history," says Gerry De Cicco, managing director of the Richmond Olympic Oval. "It is important for the Olympic Experience to incorporate accessible features in the facility's design, ensuring that everyone can fully engage with the museum, take part in high and low-tech exhibits and learn about the impact of Canadian sport heroes."
