Four Destination Management Councils were formed as a result of the Destination Development strategies across the region.

Each Council meets regularly to advance different projects, priorities and other opportunities as identified by each council:

  • Sea-to-Sky includes representatives from Tourism Whistler, Resort Municipality of Whistler, Tourism Squamish, Pemberton Chamber of Commerce, Village of Pemberton, Tourism Pemberton, Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association, District of West Vancouver, Tourism Bowen Island, Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, Visit Lillooet, BC Parks, Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, and Indigenous Tourism BC.
  • Metro Vancouver includes representatives from Translink, Vancouver International Airport, Destination Vancouver, City of Vancouver, Port of Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, City of North Vancouver, District of West Vancouver, City of Delta, Tourism Langley, Township of Langley, City of Surrey, Surrey Board of Trade, Tourism Burnaby, City of Coquitlam, Tourism Richmond, City of Richmond, Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, BC Parks, and Indigenous Tourism BC.
  • Sunshine Coast includes representatives from Sunshine Coast Tourism, Town of Gibsons, District of Sechelt, City of Powell River, Powell River Town Centre, Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Organization, BC Parks, Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, and Indigenous Tourism BC.
  • Fraser Valley includes representatives from Fraser Valley Regional District, City of Maple Ridge, Tourism Langley, Downtown Langley Business Association, Tourism Abbotsford, City of Mission, Tourism Harrison, Tourism Chilliwack, Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, and Indigenous Tourism BC.
