A number of associations, consortiums and product sector organizations represent the interests of BC’s tourism industry at the national and provincial levels. These groups provide support and advocacy to assist tourism industry operators with their day-to-day business activities.
Since 1979, go2HR has served BC’s tourism and hospitality industry with programs and services that support its growth and success. go2HR provides information to employers on HR issues such as recruitment, retention, training and legal issues; coordinates and conducts industry-leading research on key employment-related issues and policies affecting the BC tourism labour market; and helps businesses gain access to relevant front-line, team leadership and management skills training for their employees.

The Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIABC) advocates for the interests of British Columbia’s $17 billion visitor economy. As a not-for-profit tourism industry association, TIABC works collaboratively with its members – private sector tourism businesses, industry associations and destination marketing organizations – to ensure the best working environment for a competitive tourism industry.
